Hell or high water, rain or shine, nothing was going to stop Tricia and Anthony from having a spectacular wedding day. Originally we planned to go to Long Beach for a couple’s first look. Bridal party photos, were to be taken by the ocean as well, but the rain just wouldn’t stop. When planning your wedding it’s wise to select a venue that has good indoor options for photos. If you are having a Bourne Mansion Wedding there will be no shortage of locations to take your wedding photos. Jessica and Chris had their wedding ceremony inside of the Bourne Mansion. It was too cold to conduct outside in the Bourne Mansion courtyard. It was a warm and intimate setting. A perfect room for all you love to witness the exchanging of your wedding vows.
After the ceremony we ran out into the December cold for a few photos. When you have a wedding during the cold months you have to be aware of the shorter amount of daylight. Take time to talk to your photographer about the sunset time on your wedding day. I always go through all of these details with my clients. It’s important to feel comfortable with your photographer and be able to talk through the whole wedding day with them. I always tell my clients I am here to answer all of your questions and address all of your wedding day concerns.
Colleen and Peter’s wedding was so exhilarating. It’s no surprise that one of the images from their fun filled wedding reception at The Port Washington Yacht Club was honored by The Wedding Photojournalist Association this week. Since this is a world wide organization, with so many amazing photographers, the competition is fierce. Thank you WPJA and Colleen and Peter OXOX!
It was so much fun shooting a wedding at Citi Field. The staff at Metropolitan Hospitality were outstanding and of-coarse my clients were a blast! Jump to the slideshow to see this Met’s wedding and Mr. Met!!!
